Brandy joined the Ocean Veterinary Ophthalmology family in June 2024. She started in the field as a kennel attendant/ veterinary assistant in general practice and realized she wanted to be able to do more and pursued a career in veterinary technology. She graduated from Northern Virginia Community College and passed her VTNE in 2018 to become a Licensed Veterinary Technician. She spent 13 years in general practice, but decided she wanted to learn more and try her hand in a specialty practice! Brandy lives with her boyfriend, her schnauzer mix Finley and her 3 spunky cats Slinky, Big Boy, and Artemis out towards Shenandoah County. She loves the beach and exploring new places with Finley especially if they have water. Brandy loves to read, draw and her other cherished pastime is napping! Because wolves are her favorite animal, her dream job after she retires would be to volunteer at a wolf sanctuary.
